How It Works

Why Broken Links Matter

Dead links hurt both user experience and SEO — here's what we check for.

404 & Server Errors

Links pointing to pages that no longer exist or return server errors, which frustrate visitors and waste crawl budget.

Redirect Chains

Links that redirect instead of pointing directly to the right page — slower for users and can dilute SEO value.

Internal & External Links

We check both links to your own pages and links out to other websites, so nothing gets missed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. There's no signup, no email required, and no limit on how many pages you can check.

It checks the links found on the single page you submit. For a full-site crawl covering every page, our team can run a complete link audit as part of a website review.

Up to 40 links per page in a single run. If a page has more, we check the first 40 and let you know the page had more links than that.

Any link that returns a 404 (not found), a 5xx server error, or fails to load at all. Redirected links (3xx responses) are shown separately since they still work, just not directly.

Redirects still load the destination page but add extra load time and can lose some SEO value compared to linking directly. Worth fixing where possible, but not urgent like a broken link.

No. We fetch the page, check its links, and don't save the URL or results anywhere.
